YEAR 2003 : An atypical millesine!
After an autumn and a winter when the rains were important, which allowed a good refill of the hydrous reserves of the ground, we had one overdrawn spring. This pluviometric deficit continued during the estival period. Indeed July was very hot and canicular August. This exceptional heat allowed an advance on the 15 days maturity. Thus we collected first Chardonnay on August 15. The morning moistures brought by the proximity of the sea and the pond of Thau made it possible the vine to resist this dryness.
The red wines obtained are characterized by constant purplished red colors and good aromatic intensities. The extraction of the color and tannins by the reassemblies were for this year, not very frequent, which made it possible to obtain flexible and round tannins.
As for the white, they are characterized by fat and wealth of mouth.
A new extension of the cellar
Since August, the structure of a new building was set up, in order to increase the cellar of wine making.

CUVEE LA MAGDELAINE 2001
This subtle assembly of grenache, chardonnay, sauvignon, terret with dominant viognier, reveals the characteristic of this argillaceous soil on the Mediterranean littoral.
Nicolas Alcon, young oenologist, arrived it there has four with the family field and created this vintage with the yellow dress with green reflections. The intense nose is characterized by flavours of candied fruits, honey, and toastées notes. The mouth surprises by its richness and its volume, to finish on flavours of vanilla and canelle. This vintage makes wonder on the shells and goat's milk cheeses.
